Finally the last mixtape in the serie of 3 is done. And this one is blasting! Guess it’s the one people have been waiting for. Since last mix, I’ve become a lot more comfort with my Traktor Scratch Pro. Still developing, but this mix ain’t bad at all.
Unfortunately I still don’t have any monitors, so this is done with headphones only, which is to be heard on the mastering some places. For the tracklist, there is not much say. I think it speak for itself. There isn’t big surprises in it, cause lately there haven’t been surprisingly banging shit from newcomers. Well, I started with a tracklist of over 50tracks.. So had to leave a lot of tracks behind hehehe. Hope you enjoy the mixtape and be more than welcome to join the Vogelspand-facebookgroup and leave a comment. Would be more than appreciated.

Fare Soldi - Survivor from riotmaker on Vimeo.
The track and remixes of Fare Soldi’s “Survivor” have been out in the blogsphere some time now, but the video has just been released today. It’s quite good. The track itself is very very good. Therefore I will use the release of the video, to post the track with remixes. Especially like the touch Saint Pauli have given it. The track “Survivor” is actually a cover of Mike Francis classic tune (Youtube link). Get Fare Soldi's album at Riotmaker.net..
Enjoy the tracks.

Billy Bob is a new Copenhagen based dj/blogger. Born on the Faroe Islands and with his roots there, Billy Bob was asked by the Faroe Islands radio Elektronika to make a mixtape for them. Trying out with Ableton Live for the first time, he manage to make a very very fantastic and Sunday moody mixtape. The tracklist doesn’t contain big surprises, but what the fuck! This mixtape is just what you need for a day with hangovers. And if this was blowing out of the radio speakers in a car! I sure would feel like dancing! I said I probably would do more Italo-stuff in the future. This isn’t old-school Italo, but it is surely inspired by Italo. I will call it nu-disco, thou I’m not sure it’s the right term for this music. Cause like the Italo, its quite spacy in its sound. Fuck it. The genres are all messed up these days, and it’s not my curse to put them back in order.
I’m here to tell you about new music, and give you some goodies to taste on ☺ and I found THE FREE compilations for you! In Sweden they are more into the disco, electro, blog-thing than here in Denmark. Time almost stands still here, but in Sweden things are moving (only talking music)! Swedish Columbia really made my day, some days ago! Unfortunately the Swedish blog Dödselectro was first on these goodies. Damn him, but his blog or their blog is becoming more & more a favourite of mine!
Back to the case! Swedish Columbia has made a masterpiece of a compilation called Master of the Universe 2, its 85 unbelievable nice party disco tracks, from various artists! Unknown but also known! To mention a few Miami Horror, Sally Shapiro, Anorak, Trash Yourself, Overthrill, Futurecop!, Discoballistic, Johnatron, Glass Candy, Databas, Digitalism, Cryptonites, Stardust, The Phantoms Revenge, Pelifics etc! THIS COMPILATION IS A MUST! And if that weren’t enough! There are 5 smaller compilations to download too..(The compilations contains electro-stuff too, but not much)
Here are a few tracks, to give you a taste!
The Sounds of Arrows - M.A.G.I.C.
Worship - Light Dome part III
Werewolf by Night - Zinc Mynx
Well, know for the real thing! PRES HERE TO GET ALL THE SHIT!

I received Half’s ep Hérisson long ago (must be “half” a year ago), but haven’t got the time to give it my full attention, which it requires. But with a train ride of four hours, I surely got the time. Taking each track, one by one. The ep contains four tracks, which each almost got their own world. The first 3 tracks are long, and reminding me a bit of trance, but in a very good way. The long build-ups and breakdowns are giving the feeling of emotional consciousness in a different world, which actually is one of the things trance is about.
The last track “Poulailler” sounds like Mr. Oizo on techno crack! Does it give a good picture? For me it does ☺ All in all, this techno is amazing produced. Lots of elements in the tracks, gives you the feeling of some young lads, who really spend much time making these tracks emotionally. Listen carefully, and I hope you will find, what I mean.

Kid Freakout, former Kid Filthy, has been very productive since he changed his alias. I don’t even tend to argue for his skills, cause the love he already got from several blogs tells everything. Especially his remix of Franz Ferdinand is good, really good. A must be one of my absolute favourite remixes of Franz Ferdinand, thou there is many of them. There has only come one original track from Kid Freakout until now, its called Primary. A track with real blog electro-spirit. I received 5 goodies for you.
Hope not, you already got them all ☺ remember to add Kid Freakout on Myspace here
Kid Freakout – Primary(Rage version)
Franz Ferdinand – Ulysses(Kid Freakout rmx)
LadyHawk – Back of the van(Kid Freakout rmx)
MSTRKRFT – Bounce(Kid Freakout rmx)
The Disco Villains – Cali Luv(Kid Freakout rmx)

_______________HandToTheClap________________
You remember Noia Krew, who was very 3 young lads? Well, it’s like 8-9 month since they where on the blog. In the time between, a lot has happened. Guess they are not really playing together anymore, and they are producing more or less individually. I’ve been writing on and off with DJ Handclap (pictured above) ever since, the Noia Krew post was on the blog. Always checking his latest work and giving comments on it. Now the time has come, for him to get his own post.
Lately he has been giving Fagget Fairys annoying “Feed The Horse” a little kick. And with his desire to turn everything into music, he recorded one of his teachers (Poul) telling a girl in his class to shut up. Within a day, that sentence was turned into a little funny dubstep track ☺ DJ Handclap is soon getting his remix of Digital Primates' "B-girls RU ready" released on their upcoming ep. Quite an achievement, if you ask me. Constructive comments are always welcome..

Irish Steph interview by Vogelspand

I did a little silly interview with the talented Irish Steph. Without doubt he will get some more blog-love in the coming months. His noisy powerful tracks got some really catchy- and funkyness. And the build of the tracks is amazing! 17years? It’s not to believe! Here is some real potential! I know, that there might be a release on his way soon. I actually heard his latest demo. Can’t wait!!
Enjoy!
V:Make a short introducing of you.
IS: I’m a little guy living in the South of France beside Cannes who likes making all sorts of music. I’m 17 and just started the electro/rock style. Besides this I like farandoles (French Traditional Dance) and frangipane cakes (French Cake), but also Shamrocks, Leprechauns and cliffs (?) because I’m also Irish.
V: If your music were food, what kind of food would it be?
IS: Definitly frangipane I think, because its good, hot and there’s a little present inside. Or maybe Spaghetti Blognaise because it’s a real mess trying to eat them but it’s good.
V: Name 3 bands you love and 3 bands you hate + why you love & hate them.
IS: My favorite artist is Georges Moustaki because he’s a sexy boy and I like him. Then Off The Map, a funky fresh group from where I live which managed to play a lot of music style and because the bass player is gay, but I’m not gay. A Common Attire, another funky band with fresh music with a taste of latino. They’re sexy. Check out their myspaces : http://www.creatweb.com/moustaki/ www.myspace.com/thisisoffthemap www.myspace.com/acommonattire On the opposite I hate Inga from Sweeden because she’s lame, the Red Hot Chili Peppers because they didn’t do a collaboration with Justice and Justice because they didn’t do a collaboration with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
V: What’s your favourite TV-show/cartoon?
IS: Pokemon Gonna catch them all. I’m in love with Pokeballs and Jessy and James. All my childhood I played the games on Gameboy… ha … Love them
V: If you could chose to be a cartoon or movie star, which would you chose to be?
IS: Dora The Explorer I think : she is famous and does shitty stuff. She can speak many languages also. That’s sexy !
V: How would a dream-gig turn out?
IS: No more seriously would be like a huge gig in giant stadium with thousands of people asking for more and more Irish Steph probably and being rich after that concert.
V:The final mission in you life will be?
IS: To finish Tetris I think…
And now for some awesome goodies!! Irish Steph also send over a massive remix from his friend Deluce. You surely will dig these tracks! Leave a comment for the comet!

I just had to post Alloy Alloy! Cause they are a hard rocking live duo that really knows how to get the crowd going wild. Their description of themselves, will give you the correct picture.
“Alloy Alloy is a Belgian/Danish electro-duo that delivers a booty-shaking live experience with energetic vocals, charming synth lines and intense boom-bass. No pulse, hips and feet are left untouched when their electro-pop sets hits the crowd! Onstage Alloy Alloy hits hard, but their music is always complimented by their ironic and humorous expression. They want to get the party started. The music is a mix of electro and synth pop, with strong elements from early new wave and pumping club music. References are, among others, Vitalic(F), The Knife(S) and Fischerspooner(US).”
Alright, here are some demo goodies from Alloy Alloy to you.
